With 96 percent punctuality in passenger transport, ÖBB is one of the most punctual railways in Europe. With investments of more than three billion euros annually in the railway infrastructure, ÖBB is building the railway of tomorrow. Throughout the Group, 42,000 employees (including 2,000 in international subsidiaries) in bus and rail as well as more than 2,000 apprentices ensure that around 790,000 passengers and 870 ÖBB freight trains arrive safely at their destination every day.
